Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY

After breakfast, we’ll start the desert tour. You’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains through the country’s highest pass, Tizi n’Tichka (2,260m altitude). Then, you’ll pass through interesting villages until you reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987), a fortified complex within a walled town that you’ll surely recognize, as it has been the setting for many famous movies.

Continuing our route, we’ll pass through Ouarzazate, then take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs towards Skoura. From there, we’ll cross the Valley of Roses to finally arrive at the Dades Valley. Dinner and accommodation in a hotel located in the Dades Gorges.

Day 2: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA DESERT

The next day, after breakfast, you’ll continue your journey passing through many Berber villages. You’ll visit the Todra Gorges with the possibility of having lunch there to enjoy the impressive place peacefully. Once the visit is over, you’ll head straight to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll start the camel excursion, making a stop to see the sunset until reaching the heart of the desert. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with excellent and refreshing tea and an exquisite Berber dinner, all accompanied by the music of the tam-tam (drums). You’ll enjoy a unique and unforgettable night under the star-filled desert sky, sleeping in Berber tents.

Day 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE

You’re already in the desert, enjoying the magic of the dunes… Today, it’s essential to wake up early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes. After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate via Rissani, where we’ll stop to visit its traditional medina, considered the largest in Southern Morocco. Then we’ll head towards Alnif, Tazarine, and the Draa Valley, with its impressive palm groves. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: OUARZAZATE – TELOUAT – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH

After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech, you’ll visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, built in adobe with battlemented towers, and considered one of the most beautiful in Morocco due to its importance, architecture, and decoration. You’ll have the honor of having visited the largest residence of the Glaoui, the ‘pasha’ of Marrakech. Afterward, we’ll head towards the red city of Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
