In 3 days, explore central and southern Morocco, discovering the desert and enjoying scenic palm groves, valleys, mountains, and Berber villages along the way.

DAY 1: FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU- MONKEY FOREST – MERZOUGA DESERT.

From Fez, we will drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next town will be Azrou, passing through the national park known for its cedar trees where the famous monkeys of the area are found. Then, we will travel through the Ziz Valley leading us to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Arrival at the desert where we will take a camel ride through the desert to reach the heart of the desert where we will be welcomed, according to Sahara tradition, with Berber tea, dinner, and a drum party at the Sahara camp.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY.

You are in the desert! Today, it’s essential to wake up early to watch the sunrise from the top of the dunes. After breakfast, we leave the dunes behind and head towards Tinghir where we will visit the Todra Gorges, an ancient sewer system from the 15th century. We will also take a look at the palm grove of Tinghir, then continue to the Todra Gorges where we will rest. Next, we will walk through the town and the Boumalne Dades valley to reach the Dades Gorges. There, the river has eroded the rocks to create a beautiful landscape. Dinner and accommodation in the Dades valley.

DAY 3: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH.

Morning for a guided tour of Marrakech. It’s a spectacular city, where there’s a continuous celebration as seen in the famous Djemaa el Fna Square, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which for several centuries has been the most incredible popular theater in the world: snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune-tellers, actors, diviners… But we can’t forget that its destiny is linked to the various dynasties that have succeeded there, as well as its tradition as a political, economic, and cultural metropolis has always dominated the history of the Maghreb. In Marrakech, there are countless places to visit, for example, Ben Youssef Madrasa, the Menara, Dar Si Said Museum, Agdal Garden, the Saadian Tombs, and the Badi and Bahia Palaces.
