Day 2: Fez Guided Tour – The Heart of the Medina
After breakfast, we explore the oldest of the Imperial Cities. The tour begins with a breathtaking panoramic view of the ancient city from the surrounding hills, followed by a visit to the magnificent bronze gates of the Royal Palace. We then dive into the UNESCO-listed Medina on foot to visit the Attarine or Bou Inania Medersas, witness traditional artisans at work, and see the world-famous spectacular tanneries.
Day 3: Chefchaouen Excursion – The Blue Pearl
Today we journey to the Rif Mountains to visit Chefchaouen, the "Blue City." Famous for its striking blue-washed streets and serene atmosphere, you will explore its charming Uta el-Hammam square and local artisan markets. It is a haven of peace offering beautiful urban vistas and exquisite local crafts. In the late afternoon, we return to Fez.
Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga Desert
Leaving Fez, we cross the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop in Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Africa." We’ll visit the National Park of Azrou to see the Barbary monkeys in the ancient cedar forests. After passing through the Ziz Valley, we reach the golden dunes of Merzouga.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Waking up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes is a must-do experience. After breakfast, we travel to Tinghir to explore the majestic Todra Gorges, famous for their towering limestone cliffs and ancient oasis irrigation systems. We conclude the day in the Dades Gorges, where time and water have sculpted the rocks into stunning landscapes.
Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We follow the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" through the Valley of Roses to Ouarzazate. Here, we visit the Taourirt Kasbah before reaching the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous filming location (Gladiator, Game of Thrones). We then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass to reach the "Red City," Marrakech.
Day 7: Marrakech Guided Tour – The Red City
A dedicated guide will take you through the city's wonders: the Koutoubia Minaret, the exquisite Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture. The tour culminates at the legendary Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, an open-air theater of storytellers and musicians.
